TRAILBLAZER AWARD
The Office to Advance Women Apprentices NL is proud to once again present the Tradeswomen Trailblazer Award – an opportunity to recognize tradeswomen in Newfoundland and Labrador who are leading the way and creating meaningful change for women entering and working in the skilled trades.
For more than 15 years, our office has had the privilege of working alongside many dedicated and inspiring tradeswomen. Countless women have gone above and beyond to support others by mentoring, advocating, and promoting the skilled trades as a viable and rewarding career at any age. Their commitment has helped pave the path to success in fields where women remain underrepresented.
If you know a tradeswoman who exemplifies this spirit of leadership and support, we encourage you to submit a nomination.
As part of the application, nominators are asked to provide a brief written statement outlining how the nominee has exceeded the expectations of their role and contributed to advancing equal representation of women in the construction industry. (See application form for details.)
