Unlocking ADHD for Women in Trades

Unlocking ADHD for Women in Trades

If your brain sometimes feels like it has too many tabs open at once, you’re not alone. ADHD can bring real challenges to the way we manage time, focus, organization, and overwhelm but it can also come with strengths like creativity, problem-solving, adaptability, and thinking differently.

Unlocking ADHD for Women in Trades is about understanding how your brain works and finding practical strategies that work with it, not against it. In this one-hour virtual workshop, we’ll explore tools you can actually use on the job, in your truck, in the shop, or wherever your work takes you.

Special guest speaker Ashley Phillips, ADHD-CCSP Clinical Social Worker/Therapist, BSc, BSW, MSW, RSW, will help us explore effective strategies and practical tips for managing time, organization, and overwhelm at work (and at home).

Sign up required, participants must be registered with the Office To Advance Women Apprentices Newfoundland and Labrador.
